This morning we worked out. I love working out with shayna because she is the expert in this area, and always pushes me to be my best and teaches me new techniques and never makes me feel like a rookie (which I am!).

A bit later in the day we picked up Daniel’s car (so generous) and drove to Port Douglas with Erik to have a day wondering around the town and on the beach. It was over an hour drive from cairns, but it was definitely worth it. Port Douglas is a posh town, with stunning cafes, gelato shops, bathing suit/beachy evening wear shops and quiet relaxing vibes. The beach was also nice because the sand was hard and packed together, so when you put all your things down the sand didn’t blow up everywhere. We napped/read/chatted and enjoyed having the day off.

MUST EAT at Lotus Leaf Asian Salads

Palm Cove is another beach area on the way back, and we stopped there for a gorgeous sunrise. Check out how cool the waves were as they hugged the shore.

Sunsets here are definitely epic, and I can’t wait to see some more on my east coast trip of Australia! For dinner we had a sushi date and had a chill night before another day trip tomorrow.
