June 3rd-5th Are cat naps long?

This morning I had work all day at Higher Ground and then went home to take a nice, long cat nap. Can they even be called cat naps if it’s long? I know close to nothing about cats, so if anyone wants to clarify for me how long cats nap for, that’d be awesome. At night I got ready and met up with Tyson (gymnastics friend from University back at home) at my favorite club- Pawn & Co. Why is it that sometimes there are places in the world that you feel connected to? A restaurant, a seat in class, a club, a certain book, a song? It's something a bit larger than ourselves I think. Will have to think about it more.

We also met up with some of his friends and spent a while there, then continued the night at Revs. I even saw two people there that I knew! Grey and Oli (the guy who had the awesome warehouse birthday party!). Sunday nights will not be the same in any other city. Oh, also. One of my favorite DJ's and a very cool guy in general is Scott Freedman who was performing that night. His work never gets old!

A few days later on Tuesday I went out to eat and have a drink at Naked for Satan. I went there way back when with Joel when I first moved to Melbourne, and have not been back since. One of my coworkers, (another) Scott, is training to be a supervisor there and mentioned I should come by with people! It was lovely to go and hang out with Joel and Jonny (A close friend of Joel’s who I have had the pleasure of getting to know when I lived out in Caulfield), have a drink, and explore their rooftop, which is heated and has fantastic views of the city!

I got a rice beer called Kung Foo by 2 brothers brand, and then a scotch from the lowlands, which was called Glenkinchie. I love drinking whiskey, and I love Scotland, so drinking any whiskey from Scotland (scotch) makes me such a happy lady!
