March 12 - Couchsurfin' away

I got into bed around 7 am and slept until mid afternoon. Time to shower, pack up, and head out to the city. I am going to be couchsurfing again, and this time I’ll be staying with Bevan. His apartment is very central to the city and had incredible views and amenities like a gym, sauna, and pool. Since it was dinnertime when I got there I took him out to a cute, side alley restaurant called Om Vegetarian.

We ate fabulous vegetarian Indian food and we had great conversation talking about absolutely everything; my favorite conversation was hearing about his experience going to the hospital in Egypt. I am so blessed to be around these friendly people, who are willing to open up their homes and guide me around their cities. When we got back I did final preparations for my upcoming interview.
